About Our Community

Dissociative Identity Disorder is real. This is a discussion group for those who have DID and are actively participating in healing and recovery with a treatment team of professionals and/or seriously working on their healing. Professionals who treat people who are diagnosed DID are also welcome as members here. If you fall under this category, your role here will be the same as any other member, to offer support and learn about DID from those who are DID, and not to exercise or advertise your profession. We do not have supporters of those with DID as members of this forum.

We are dedicated to traveling the difficult path toward healing from past abuse which affects our current life situations and/or daily living. We encourage all members to participate in the wide variety of discussions, supporting and sharing with other members of the group. Many members have created profiles for parts within their system, each participating individually. The main adult member is responsible for the content of all posts of other parts within their system.

Members of this group are compassionate, supportive, and knowledgeable. As a kind and caring group, we support and validate each other as equally unique and significant.

This is a peer-administrated support forum. Our focus here is healing. Threats of harm to self or others are not allowed! Members cannot possibly help in these situations. If you feel you are in danger of harming yourself or others, please contact a crisis center, Therapist, or 911.
  • You are responsible for your own safety while participating in this group.
  • Each member is responsible for reading, understanding and abiding by the "Policies and Guidelines" enforced in this community.
  • We reserve the right, at our discretion, to decline access to anyone, at any time, to any part of the forum and/or the forum as a whole.

Disrespect toward any staff or another member and/or failure to abide by community Policies and Guidelines can result in a member being immediately banned from this forum.
